Electrical Test and Tagging needs to be performed periodically to ensure the electrical equipment being used or hired out is compliant with Western Australian regulations. Industries such as construction, mining and demolition are required to have their appliances tested and tagged every three months. A durable tag is attached after inspection and testing to clearly show the test date and the next scheduled test and inspection date.

NOTE: Unrepairable tools are returned disassembled, as per OSHA regulations. Unassembled tools are considered "unsafe," and pose a safety hazard.
